Struggle of the Head and Heart

Crazy schedule.

Church camp's still so real in my mind, I really got to know Shermaine and Glenys better throughout the camp, of course, how can I forget Evangeline. The workshops were really good. And I'm really glad to have awesome childhood friends whom I've grown up with since I was a tiny kid of 4 years old in Sunday school.

I really thank God for letting them in my life.

Had 4 hours of sleep on the last night, we stayed till 3am in the morning playing some pictionary game. Screaming into the night due to over-excitement.

Kaleo was pretty much dominating the night. I didn't take any photos at all. Church camp's a normal thing for me. I mean, I go to church camp every year. So it's nothing VERY special about it. It's the staying in the hotel with your church friends, making you feel like you're living with them, it's that feeling that I love so much. Not forgetting my walk of joy with the Lord.

The day after I came back from church camp, ATC started.
I'm REALLY EXTREMELY VERY GRATEFUL FOR MY GROUP! I hear horror stories from other groups, and I'm so thankful for the sec1s in Empathy. They don't give me any problems in carrying out tasks, EATING FINISH ALL THEIR FOOD, and throughout the ENTIRE camp. I didn't hear a SINGLE complain from them. See? How awesome they are. Plus, Sian was really being an awesome assistant GL. Without her helping me along, I really don't know how my group actually survived. For a girl who just joined GB this year, I think she did really well as an AGL. All the tough times during ATC, I wasn't around.

Left at 4 on the first day, came back for QT the next morning. Whole day at pasir ris. 2nd night, we slept in tents. MY FIRST TIME!
Next day, off to NDP. Missed out a whole day of scolding (changing parade + pumpings + running + more scoldings). Reached back really late, I thought there wouldn't be fire drill. Sadly, there was. But when they started banging the doors, my mind was like, here we go again.
I guess I'm immune to all the trauma in ATC. HAHAHHA!

And you know, in my entire 3 years of cleaning up shower rooms (without fail, I'm always assigned that for area cleaning EVERY YEAR, I'm fated). This year, is the FIRST time, the shower rooms got a 'pass' for the first time after inspection, besides the fact that we had to take away the towels. And it wasn't one, it was both the 2 shower rooms! We got rid of every single strand of hair lying on the floor. I was super duper ultra happy! Last time, we had to keep going back in to clean. That's why, my group's so awesome, we even won the best group award. (:
Hahah, also because they survived very well without me around.

Today, had an ENTIRE day of filming for 8 aug kaleo event. It was way tiring. I'm not allowed to post any of the pictures, the director dilys say must wait for preview on 8 aug. Tahaaa! Evan looked super creepy emo with all the eyeliner. I had alot of fun filming with the group. Whole lot of laughing.
