Every iDARE has always been a new experience for me. I am constantly looking for new ways to improve myself through iDARE. So I'm glad for the second opportunity for being an SF. Because iDARE has always made me learn so much from the people around me.
I've challenged myself in different ways again this time. Still remembered being some sissy during flying fox and sitting down while going down the line during Oct '11 iDARE. BUT NO THIS TIME I DID FLYING FOX INVERTED (aka upside down). And I guess this determination was really fuelled by my dearest Blastoise. Okay partly because I am an SF so I shouldn't be a sissy. But when I saw how everybody either did superman/inverted, the fear of it totally went away. Blastoise really dared themselves to step up and out of every comfort zone they had. During times when they're having fun, or sharing during debrief. It just feels so rewarding on my part, seeing them open up to each other. I'm so happy for them, that they were able to forge friendships and even said they didn't want this group to die. Growing from the experience and learning from each other. I love them for being so supportive of each other. I'm really proud of each and everyone of them.

To me, iDARE wasn't just the 5 days at camp, but the entire process starting all the way from that day at ideawerkz, to painting our banners, having soba/pasta at loft, doing videos, selecting participants, meeting up at the 'iDARE room', whacking the shit out of jasiel/justin when they're ridiculous monkeys, baba yetuyetu-ing on full blast, planning preglow, etc. And of course, all these would not have been possible if not for best team of SFs. A bunch of monkeys who are playful, but yet so passionate in changing and impacting lives. Led by the best SSF I could ever ask for, Lim Zi Jian. Who pretty much tolerated any nonsense, who placed the camp and the SFs before himself, who didn't get angry at us for not being cooperative at times, for being the most patient and capable person in the team of 6. Balancing his Year 3 studies/activities + doing both the role of an SF and SSF. We love you so much~ and you're really the best :')
It was such a great and epic time working with these 5, and I love them so much. Of course I love my dearest Blastoise too and the whole of iDARE~ Thank you all for making another memorable iDARE for me.
iDARE iDARE all the way!!
