Cheers

It's the start of a New Year. Time has passed incredibly fast. I am excited for the adventures and challenges posed for the coming year. I know I am getting older, with reality and the world creeping up behind me. It's not nice to grow up. I would love to stay 18 forever if I could. 

I wouldn't say the past year was any big turning point of any sort. It was rewarding though, the journey in BASociety, EF Crew, iDARE March, iDARE Sept, Red Camp 9, and not forgetting my pride and glory, Prodigious Pegasus. But after my school commitments which ended in April, the remaining months became a good year of rest, catching up with my old friends, giving back to GB and the Community. I am definitely glad I used the past year to match back my life with God. It has been a great year of meeting new people, hearing their stories, and being inspired by it. I've learnt to grow a heart for people and the community. Giving simple smiles, striking conversations with taxi drivers, the elderly, and hearing their life stories. Though these people I met, are mostly strangers. But these strangers have given me so much stories. So much more of an eye opener to life. That I have so much more to learn and grow. 

As 2013 approaches. I will keep my options open. I will take the step to meet new people, grab new opportunities, involve myself in the community, make the difference in lives. I am feeling extremely enlightened and excited for the year. Maybe it's the excitement of God's plans for me. But I will embrace the coming year, ready for a packed year with the PIE Thailand Trip, GB Tertiary Prog, GB 28th Coy, ATC, Internship and a new project I'm coming up with. I believe and trust that God will be by my side throughout the year.
