Countdown

10 more months.
Gonna be applying once this semester ends. Time is passing too fast and we are growing up too quickly.

On the side note.
Brother is leaving for Nice, France tomorrow night. Yuni has gone back to Indo for 3 weeks. Sister is still in Aus and she seems like she's enjoying work there. Research papers, thesises, and working with doctors/psychiatrists at hospitals/centres. Been doing my own research for Universities and post-uni options. Considered taking a gap year, but the thought of taking a gap year in Singapore is a little too intimidating. I'll probably feel more inferior and behind more than anything close to inspired.

Year 3 is mad. M-A-D. I have never worked this hard for projects and assignments. I have never wanted to win and score this badly. But it's tough. I don't know if it's the nature of Year 3, or HCM in general. But this is tough. It is definitely better in the present moment. But the past weeks have been so draining I had to command my every movement.

Finals are coming, and Sem 3.1 will be coming to an end. Friends, many friends, will be leaving for internship. And I'll be taking on Psych for the next semester. I always loved starting semesters cos it means starting a fresh page. But, the thought of what I went through this semester, sigh it dampens my anticipation.

Anyway, below is a photo with my 5 lovely ladies. Our group formation wasn't a planned one like many other groups in HCM. Cheng and I approached them, and turned out they had spaces for us. And there we were formed, and our journey started.

Finding companies, interviewing companies, finding all company collective agreements from 1994-2013 (OHMYGOODNESS), analysing, attempts to brainstorm, sleepovers, saturation points, sleepless nights, sudden lightbulb moments, sidetracking topics, food, fruits, maggi mee, and more expensive food. It was such a rewarding journey going through with these ladies. We prayed before our final presentation, and it really comforted me and made me so much at peace. This is the very first presentation that I worked so hard for, down to the very detail on how we coordinated our outfits (e.g. heels/no heels, hair tied, etc). I know we worked hard, and I am proud of you girls :) Thanks for making this project so bearable, if not for you girls, I wouldn't have given my all. Cheers to TEAM IE.

And again another edit
Naomi came back earlier this month. I love it when she returns. Cos that means everybody will be meeting up frequently. And yes we did. Sleepovers, pig out sessions, attempt to go to Adventure cove, outings, DTF, and more outings. I am so happy how I am so comfortable around them. Also I love how we've all grown up and are talking about the future. Where we all plan to study. We really are going ALL OVER the world in a years time. Thess will be leaving for the UK. Vito and Oli will prob leave in about 2 years time. I'll be joining Naomi down south just that I'll be at another coast. Oli suggested we did a youtube channel so all of us could update each other while we're across the world. It is wonderful to have such friends that I've kept. And quoting Naomi as an ending to this post:
I think we revert back to the people we were when we first met, or at least I do. Everyone’s changed though and I’m so excited to see who we are and who we’re going to be. I feel so privileged to have met these people and I wonder how in a neighbourhood school in the middle of nowhere, we somehow found each other.
It’s better than any love story or fairytale ending. For our story has no end, only everlasting beginnings.
