Decided to list the places I would recommend you guys to go after exploring Singapore ^^
1) SOTA
SOTA's architecture is beautiful. I always saw SOTA from the outside but never went in. Sad thing is that we couldn't access the 2nd floor onwards. Only the first floor was open to the public. SOTA also has a gallery, which explains the very good lighting in some of the photos in the previous post. The artwork there is pretty cool too, unique stuff. And it's not boring. Unless you really hate art to no end. I would really recommend visits to SOTA :)
2) 15 minutes at LASELLE
Laselle is another place with beautiful architecture. Haha it's an arts school too, so yeah arts schools = beautiful schools. There's this cafe called 15 minutes there. I have never been to Laselle before. Who knows if I'm the only loser who didn't know that they had such a cool cafe there. Anyway, it's a good place to chill and hang. High ceilings, and a lot of natural light. Laselle isn't far from the mrt either, walkable distance (I would say) from dhoby ghaut. I never ate at this place before, we just paid it a visit. I'm the kind that will choose environment over quality. Haha quite dumb. But still, usually when the environment is good, the food shouldn't be that bad right.
3) Cafetables at Haji Lane
Okay. I am bored of haji lane. Really. I've been there many times, and I'm just, well, bored of the whole street. But I always loved the interiors of some of the shops. And there's this cafe called cafetable. A small cafe that sells drinks. I first went there with sarah yim and had lemon meringues. But now they don't sell desserts anymore. But still a cosy place, and the staff are so friendly. Heeeee.
Just a small little follow-up post, to share with you guys on the good places we visited yesterday. I AM GONNA START HUNTING FOR MORE PLACES. WHOOOOOP ^^
